The theme editor heading setting

Almost everything about the filter is managed from the app, but the theme editor's block settings panel has one field of its own: an optional Heading.

What it does

If filled in, it renders as a heading directly above the tag bar, for example "Browse by topic." Leave it blank and no heading is shown; the bar appears on its own.

This is the only display text controlled from the theme editor rather than the app. Everything else, including the tags themselves, their order, search and all other wording, is managed on the pages covered elsewhere in this documentation, and the block's own settings panel says as much directly.

Why it's here and not in the app

Shopify's theme editor is where merchants expect to control a section's heading text and see it update live in the preview alongside the rest of the page. Keeping it there, rather than in the app, means the heading behaves exactly like any other section's heading would.
