This is short, because there isn't much to disclose. This page covers three separate surfaces: this documentation website, the Filter My Blog app's admin, and the filter bar it places on your storefront.
This website
This site sets no cookies by default. If Google Analytics is enabled, it only loads after you explicitly accept the banner shown on your first visit. Declining, or simply not responding, means it never loads and no analytics cookie is ever set. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage, not a cookie, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.
When active, Google Analytics may set cookies to distinguish returning visitors and measure site usage, governed by Google's own privacy policy.
The app's admin (inside Shopify)
The embedded admin runs inside Shopify's own admin interface and relies on Shopify's standard session mechanisms for authentication, and it doesn't set additional tracking cookies of its own beyond what's necessary for that embedded session to function.
The filter bar on your storefront
The filter bar itself, meaning what your customers see and click on your blog, sets no cookies at all, on any plan. It doesn't track visitors, doesn't use local storage to remember them, and the click and search analytics described in What we collect are recorded as anonymous daily totals with nothing that could identify who was involved. There is nothing about the filter bar that needs disclosing in your own store's cookie banner.
