Yes. The tag filter reads whichever blogs and articles your store already has through Shopify's own content API, and every reader-facing link is a normal Shopify tagged-articles URL, so filtering keeps working even with JavaScript blocked. The one thing that varies by theme is whether filtering can update the page without a reload. See “Does my theme support instant filtering?” below.

It depends on how the theme's blog section is built. Themes built on Shopify's Horizon foundation accept the filter as a block inside the blog section itself, so clicking a tag swaps the article grid in place. Dawn's blog section does not accept app blocks at all, so on Dawn, and on any theme with the same limitation, the filter is added as its own section above the article list, and every tag click is a normal page link. Both are fully functional; the difference is only whether the page reloads.

Every blog in your store, up to 12 tags shown on each, and every visual preset, colour and layout option. There's no blog limit on any plan. There's no time limit and no credit card requirement either: it's a permanently free tier, not a trial.

From the articles already tagged in your Shopify blog. There's nothing to import by hand. The app reads your blogs' articles and their tags, counts how many articles carry each one, and lists them for you to show, hide or rename. A new tag on an article appears after the next refresh.

The filter bar's colours and layout are stored in a shop metafield and rendered by the theme directly, so there's no extra network call to draw it. On free and Plus plans nothing else loads. Multi-select and live search (Pro) load one small additional script only on blog pages, and only when those features are turned on.

Yes, from the app's Plan page, which opens Shopify's own plan picker. Upgrades unlock the new tier's features immediately. Downgrading doesn't delete anything: your styling, tag order and hidden tags are kept and reappear automatically if you upgrade again later; in the meantime the storefront just reflects what your new plan includes.

The filter bar stops appearing (it lives inside a theme block, which you can also remove from the theme editor at any time). Your settings are kept in case you reinstall. Shopify's standard 48-hour data-erasure process then removes your shop's data from our database automatically. See the Privacy policy for the exact rows involved.

It counts tag clicks, tag impressions, and search terms, as plain daily totals per tag or term, with no cookie, IP address, or any other visitor identifier attached. There's nothing to disclose in a cookie banner because the app itself sets no cookies. Full detail is in the Privacy policy.

Charges are final and we don't issue refunds, which is exactly why both paid plans include a 7-day free trial. Nothing is charged during it, so you can run every paid feature on your own store first, and cancelling before it ends means you're never charged at all. Moving back to the free plan stops future billing immediately and keeps all your settings. The admin interface and the storefront wording both support several languages. On the storefront, the filter's default words (“All,” “Clear filters,” and so on) automatically match your store's active language; Plus and Pro plans can additionally override any of those words by hand, in any language.
