Style presets
Every visual option, presets included, is available on every plan, including free. There's nothing about how the bar looks that requires upgrading.
The eight presets

| Pill | Rounded, filled tags with a solid active state. |
| Underline | Text-only tags, no background, with an underline for the active one. |
| Outline | Bordered tags that fill solid when selected. |
| Solid | A dark, filled bar throughout, inverting on selection. |
| Soft | Tinted, low-contrast tags in a single accent colour. |
| Tabs | Square, connected tags, closer to a tab strip than a pill row. |
| Minimal | The lightest option, with no background or border at all, just spacing and an active underline. |
| Uppercase | Small, letter-spaced, all-capitals text, no fill. |
Choosing a preset on the Design page replaces every colour and measurement at once. It's a full starting point, not an accent applied on top of your current settings.
Presets vs. custom styling
A preset is where you start, not a ceiling. After picking one, every colour, corner radius, padding, gap, font size, weight and the uppercase toggle can be changed individually; see Colours and Shape and type. Once you've customised a preset, the Design page shows it as "Customised" rather than "Selected," so it's clear at a glance that you've moved away from the stock look.
Tip
Switching to a different preset later replaces your customisations with that preset's own defaults. It doesn't try to merge the two. If you like most of what you've built and just want to try a different starting shape, note your current colours down first.
