Uninstalling and your data
Uninstalling the app removes the filter block's ability to run, because Shopify revokes the app's access to your store, but by itself uninstalling deletes nothing.
Why nothing is deleted immediately
If you uninstall by mistake, or come back after a break, reinstalling restores your tag arrangement, styling and wording exactly as you left them. There's no setup to redo.
Automatic erasure, on Shopify's schedule
Shopify requires every app to erase a shop's data automatically, a set time after uninstallation. The app has no choice in this and no separate switch to turn it off or trigger it early. Once that erasure runs, your data is permanently gone from our database; there's no way to recover it after the fact by reinstalling.
Note
There is no in-app "delete my data now" option, and no setting that changes what uninstalling does. A single, automatic process handles erasure the same way for every shop. See What we collect and the Privacy policy for exactly what that erasure removes.

Contact us through the contact form with a privacy or data request, and select the matching reason. We can action a deletion request manually ahead of the automatic schedule if you'd prefer not to wait.
